WHO ARE THE "GOOD BIRDS"?

& How does one become a "Good Bird"?!?

GOOD BIRD is an endearing term we use to refer to the members of our flock in loving memory of our great first rooster, Thomas (nicknamed Tommy the Pete).

Back then, while we thought we were just getting a chicken, we grew very fond of the bird, who had the personality, courage, and loyalty of a dog.

In short, he was a GOOD BIRD. The best, actually. We humorously transferred this expression to our favorite humans, and now, to our congregation.

Being a GOOD BIRD naturally evolved to mean to be a human “in good standing”, which we expect all of our church members to be.

Now go on… Flap your wings & be a GOOD BIRD!
