Declaration of Faith

Our sincerely-held religious beliefs are those based in that which is transcendental and universal, wholly centered on our undying faith and love of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Holy Word of God. He is our Shepherd, our Guide, our Light, the Way, the Truth and our pathway to eternal life. We do not define our faith as “blind acceptance”, and the “complete trust or confidence” of our faith is drawn from the waters of proofs themselves. Just as it is stated in Hebrews 11, faith is defined for us:

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen… we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God…”

This “evidence of things not seen” and the framing of the worlds by the Word itself is done through the omnipresent and supernatural language of numbers and geometry. As every science has at its core this universal language of maths, we may see God’s intelligent design existing all around us, in every branch of knowledge and science, giving us an understanding of our world and the evidence of the Creator’s magical workings everywhere we look. Our faith leads us to a knowing – to not just accept, but to KNOW God through His sciences is of utmost importance to our Order. Seeking out these sacred arts and teaching and preaching the True Word of God is our faith in action. A gnostic also knows that none of the sacred sciences can be performed rightly and done correctly without a life dictated by the highest of morals and ethics and a total and complete dedication to God. Our faith is heart-work, plain and simple.

Our moral doctrine is clear and concise and fundamentally based on the universal divine law of the Golden Rule, as it is recorded in the New Testament, Matthew 7:12, by the words of Christ himself:

“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”

Basic human decency, upright moral and ethical behavior, compassion, a life dedicated to virtue and righteousness, and the principles of hope, faith and charity are also to be recognized by any and all members of the church both online and in person. We seek out the will of God and give our obedience to that beauty and grace. Respect and love for our neighbors, even love for our enemies, as well as all members of the church is a divine requirement and mandatory, as that is again the commandment given to us by our Lord and Saviour, as found in Matthew 5:44,

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”.

We understand that the laws that we are to follow and adhere to were never meant to be convoluted or difficult, and are indeed, simple, straight forward and are centered in each man’s heart:

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind and thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

With this simple precept as the foundation from which we live, we move forward in this life showing our faith by our works. The declaration of our faith is in our actions themselves, to live a Christly life, one which shall be worthy enough to be accepted by God himself at the end of our long journeys. As it is stated in the Masonic handbook, at the ceremony for the presentation of the lambskin apron, we live life so that when our:

“…soul stands alone, before the Throne, may we hear my brother, from the Judge Supreme, the welcome words: Well done thou good and faithful servant; enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
