Songs of the Lamb – 12 Song Album by Bro. Marty Leeds

“Songs of the Lamb” is a 12 song acoustic rock LP written, performed, produced, and mixed by Bro. Marty Leeds. This album is composed of a collection of songs written within the first few years of opening the church and are songs all centered around and focused on the Lord Jesus. This album was cut in roughly about two and a half days, after laying down the initial tracks in a house Bro. Marty rented in Nauvoo, Illinois, on the mighty Mississippi River. In total, after including the bass and additional instrumentation, this record was made in about a week. We are extremely happy with the results as we feel these recordings are the best presentation of these songs that we could make having basically no budget, a single condenser mic, and a MacBook Pro. As Bro. Marty has always been a DIY guy, this album is a perfect example of how “doing it yourself” sometimes is the best way. All the instrumentation, drum sequencing and singing was done by Bro. Marty.
